When we found our home in Briar Hill one point of focus was the backyard; it would be perfect for a growing toddler.
The 1960’s blond brick offered many opportunities and needed some TLC.
Most of the maintenance required was in the outer areas.
Once meeting Mick Watts both of us knew he would be the builder we wanted to help us find the path in making this property our home. He made us feel comfortable and we felt assured our desired effect would be the result.
Mick offered some fantastic ideas and was available on our every call.
We were overwhelmed with the service provided and the constant flow of communication. It didn’t matter how many questions we posed, Mick was always patient and very willing to offer a solution.
We had what seemed over a hundred jobs to be completed and managed. Mick ran with all of it; alongside his team both onsite and in the office, they found no issue too big.
We’ve been in our new home now for about 3 years, and we’re still in awe of how great it all turned out. We love it!
We have just completed building our Edgebuild home on a 20 Acre property we attained 4 years ago at Nutfield. Upon purchasing
the land, we started to plan our “Dream Home” and engaged with Edgebuild to begin the design and planning stage of the project. Right from the outset Kelly and I were at ease with Michael and, having been through preliminary design and discussions with several other builders, were both immediately confident we would be able to achieve the ‘Special’ result we were looking for.
I am quite a perfectionist and have very high expectations in everything I do. Working with Michael and his team gave me a great deal of comfort knowing they too were striving every day to meet those high expectations, and to deliver a superior product that would stand out from the norm. The superior quality of the finishing, and the attention paid to the endless list of small details, is a reflection on the integrity and capabilities of the tradesmen in the team… This was such an important factor for us.
To have Michael’s constant input and advice right throughout the project was invaluable, and the fact he too is continually striving for perfection has been instrumental in having delivered us a truly remarkable home.

We undertook a major renovation and extension of our c 1890 house in Hawthorn. We are delighted with the finished product in terms of the construction and the finishes.
While there are always some unexpected complications, we found the Edgebuild team to be always approachable, honest and pragmatic throughout the process. Edgebuild were extremely attentive in following up any issues or queries once we had moved in.
If we were ever to undertake another building job we would be more than happy to work with Edgebuild again.
We looked at many builders when we decided to transform our small, very ordinary home into something completely different. It wasn’t simply quality we were looking for, but someone who had the same vision as us, and who would put as much of themselves into the home as we were.

When selecting a builder to create our new home, it was an easy decision to make. Unlike other builders we approached, Edgebuild were clear and prompt when it came to communication and quotes. They were enthusiastic to take on our project without changing our plans and vision and really worked with us to create what ‘WE’ wanted. EdgeBuild discussed our plans and made us feel at ease. EdgeBuild were always patient even when we changed our minds along the way and always willing to offer advice which at times was invaluable. Any issues that arose were solved quickly.
What could have been a difficult process was a relatively easy experience and enjoyable journey. Living through our renovations (a period of 4 months), The Edgebuild team were always respectful and professional. Not a day went by during the build that there was not someone on site or someone communicating with us. Our project was also finished before the agreed date.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Edgebuild to anyone else considering renovating or building. The support, guidance and fantastic team has delivered us a beautiful home. Our neighbours and friends cannot believe that our home is the same house. There is nothing better than to pull up in our drive way now and smile.
